Young adults are confronted with a number of issues that challenge their abilities to deal with the world effectively, and challenge our abilities to guide them. On this page we'll provide information about how we've tried to deal with issues such as drugs and alcohol, sexuality, and peer pressure.

Get Involved!
No matter how good we are as parents, teenagers still act out. However, there are a number of ways we can try to keep things in check. For example, make a point of helping your child with his or her homework. Or if your child is involved in after-school programs, try to take part by volunteer your own time.

Drug Warning Signs

Even the smartest kids sometimes get caught up in drug use. Some warning signs include:

* Loss of appetite
* Withdrawal
* Stealing money
